Extra base hits powers Albion 18U to win
Five big extra base hits sparked Albion to a 13-4 win over visiting Lyndonville in a GLOW League 18U Division baseball game this evening.
Elliott Trapiss banged out a three run home run in the third inning and a three run triple in the fifth frame to highlight that extra base hit surge which also included solo home runs by Kaiden Froman in the second and fourth innings and an RBI double by Gavin Boyce in the second.
Trapiss finished with 4 hits as Froman and Boyce both had 2.
Quincy McClinsey had a triple for Lyndonville. as Kameron Kassay and Shawn Robertson both had an RBI.
On the mound for Albion, Froman and Aaron Woodrow combined for a 5 hitter with 11 strikeouts.
Albion improves to 8-2-1.
