Empire 8 field hockey honors for Barker grad

Barker High graduate and SUNY Geneseo fifth year senior Katrina Clare has been named the Empire 8 Conference field hockey Offensive Player of the Year.
Clare, who also earned first team All-Conference honors, led the Empire 8 in scoring this season with 38 points on 16 goals and 6 assists. That includes 11 goals and 4 assists in Empire 8 Conference games.
She finishes her career at Geneseo with 109 points on 47 goals and 15 assists over 74 career games.
Clare is majoring in International Relations.
During her scholastic days at Barker, she was a three-time first team Niagara-Orleans All-League honoree.
