East Aurora girls oust Medina
No. 2 seed East Aurora defeated visiting No. 7 Medina 56-40 this evening in the quarterfinals of the Section VI Class B1 girls basketball playoffs.
Sarah Tully scored a game high 25 points for East Aurora which led 34-17 at the half.
Camri King and Maddie Williams each scored 11 and Anya Bloom 7 for Medina.
In another Class B1 quarterfinal, No. 14 Fredonia defeated No. 11 Newfane 48-36.
In Class B2 quarterfinals, No. 7 Allegany-Limestone defeated No. 2 Wilson 40-30 and No. 4 Southwestern downed No. 5 Akron 57-39.
