Early lead sparks Storm 12U past Tri-Town

Building up an early lead, the Albion 12U softball team went on to defeat Tri-Town 19-10 Thursday.

Anna Gillette started  on the rubber for The Storm. The bulldog surrendered only three runs on zero hits over two innings, striking out five.

The Storm started the game strong scoring 7 in the bottom of the first off of 7 hits.

The Storm’s bats were on fire tonight putting up 16 hits in 5 innings.  Melia Prince, Reagan Flor, Loralei Gailie, Anna Gillette, and Gia Howard each collected multiple hits.  Loralei, Reagan, and Melia each managed three hits.  Brooke Doty, Meadow Smith and Lilly Maynard also had singles.

Anna Gillette and Anna Grillo led Albion Storm with five stolen bases each, as they ran wild on the base paths with 44 stolen bases!
