Eagles, Bees battle to tie; Hawks win

Each team scored a goal in the first half, which proved to be all of the scoring, as front-running Kendall battled to a 1-1 overtime tie with Byron-Bergen this evening in a key Genesee Region League boys soccer game.

Byron-Bergen grabbed an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Adam Strassner at the 28 minute mark.

Kendall though answered back with the equalizer 14 minutes later as Will Condo scored his eighth goal of the season off an assist from Jake Adams.

Kendall is now 7-0-1 in the league and Byron-Bergen 4-2-2.

Holley 3, Pembroke 0
Holley boosted its G-R record to 4-2-1 with a 3-0 victory over Pembroke on two goals by Andrew Cary and one by Joe DeFelice.

Patrick Bower earned the shutout in goal for the Hawks.
