Dynamites tie and win to open Ohio Tourney
The Dynamites 16U Travel team had a win and tie today to open competition at the Youth World Series being held at Lebanon, Ohio.
In the opener, the Dynamites managed only two hits in a 0-0 with the Indiana Blacksnakes.
Aiden Romesser scattered 3 hits and struck out 10 in 6 innings of work on the mound.
The Dynamites bounced back to post a 10-2 victory over the Thunder moving on top to stay with 3 runs in the first inning highlighted by an RBI double by Tyler Kroening.
Keeping the momentum, the Dynamites tacked on 4 runs in the second inning as Ehren Pettapiece had a double and Ryleigh Culver a single.
Pettapiece also had a two-run single and Evan Poeller an RBI single in the fifth inning.
Brody Fry earned the win on the mound as he allowed 4 hits and struck out 7 in 4 innings.
The Dynamites will play two more games in the tournament on Thursday.
