Dynamites even diamond score with Surge
Avenging a weekend tournament loss, the Dynamites 16U Travel team downed the host Surge 7-5 Tuesday in a Western New York Premier League baseball game.
Breaking away from a 5-5 tie, the Dynamites scored what proved to be the winning two runs in the fourth inning on a pair of wild pitches as three walks set up the opportunity.
Earlier, the Dynamites scored twice in the first inning on a two-run sigle by Brody Fry, twice in the second on a single by Brennan Bowes and a wild pitch and once in the third on an error. Singles by Aiden Romesser and Ryleigh Culver set up the first inning scoring opportunity.
Evan Poeller and Gavin Heideman shared the pitching during combining for a 4 hitter with 9 strikeouts.
The Dynamites are now 4-2.
