Duke Sevenski Scholarship awarded to 2 students from Albion, Medina

MEDINA – Orleans Career and Technical Education Center Secretary Sabrina Stabler, Evan Harris (Medina), OCTEC Principal Mike Mann and Orion Groth (Albion) are pictured recently after Harris and Groth received the Duke Sevenski Lincoln Post VFW Memorial Scholarship. The awards are for $500 each.
Harris was a student in the Building Trades program and Groth was in the Electricity/Electronics program at the Orleans Career and Technical Education Center (OCTEC).
They were awarded the scholarships during the end-of-the-year celebration. The students will use the money to pursue their careers.
