Dragons edge past Hawks

Pembroke trimmed host Holley 42-38 this evening in a Genesee Region League boys basketball game.

Adam Dulski scored 14 and Matt Barry 9 for Pembroke which held slender leads of 7-6 after one period, 21-19 at the half and 35-34 at the three-quarter mark.

Kohl Morgan took game high honors with 21 points and 19 rebounds for Holley as Carson Major added 11 points. Morgan scored 11 in the third period. (Click here to see Morgan score 2 in the first quarter.)

Holley grabbed six point leads in both the second and third periods but both times Pembroke rallied back to take a slender lead at the end of the quarter.

Holley later pulled even at 38-38 on a bucket by Morgan but the final four points and the win belonged to the Dragons.

Now at 0-5, Holley next visits Byron-Bergen Wednesday in a G-R contest.
