Avenging an earlier season 1-0 loss Pembroke edged Lyndonville 3-2 in a Genesee Region League boys soccer game this afternoon at Lyndonville.

A 2-1 edge in goals over the final 15 minutes earned Pembroke the narrow win.

Pembroke regained a 2-1 lead on a goal by Silas Calderon with 15 minutes to go.

Lyndonville rallied back into a 2-2 tie when Juan Alberdi scored on a header off a corner by Colton Smith with 8 minutes to go.

However, Pembroke answered right back just a minute and a half later when Connor Sobczak scored what proved to be the game winner for a 3-2 Dragons lead.

The game was tied 1-1 at the half as Smith pulled the Tigers even with a penalty kick goal midway through the first half.
