Depew trims Medina lacrosse squad
Pulling away in the final quarter, Depew downed visiting Medina 9-5 in a Class D Division lacrosse game this afternoon.
Leading by a narrow 6-5 margin, Depew outscored Medina 3-0 in the decisive final period to lock up the win.
Deadlocked at 2-2 after one quarter, Depew grabbed a 4-3 lead at the half.
Zaric Boyce scored two goals for Medina as Jacob Rissew, Josh Wilson and Cayden Lilleby each had one.
Now at 0-2 in the division and 0-3 overall, Medina next hosts Brockport in a non league game at 10 a.m. Saturday at Vets Park.
