Dementia Caregiver Support Group will meet second Wednesdays in Knowlesville

KNOWLESVILLE – The Orleans County Dementia Caregiver Support Group, run by the Alzheimer’s Association, has a new date and time.
Beginning November 9, the support group will meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Church of the Abundant Harvest, 3619 Knowlesville Rd., Knowlesville.
The support group offers caregivers an opportunity to share their experiences in a safe and confidential space and learn methods and skills to solve problems. Participants should call (800) 272-3900 to register.
Free respite may be available during the meeting for people living with dementia. Pre-screening and registration is required. Anyone interested in respite should call Cheryl at 585-704-8173.
