County U12 diamond season gets underway
Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Some three months after the planned start of local youth baseball action due to Covid 19 Pandemic restrictions, play began in the U12 Division of the new Orleans County Short Season League Tuesday evening. The action here is from the opener at Carlton which hosted Sandstone. Here Gavin Boyce drives in Carlton’s initial run of the season in the first inning. At right Colin McMullin delivers an opening inning pitch for Carlton.
In action here for Sandstone are Drew Pritchard who takes a healthy cut at the ball and Elliott Trapiss who delivers a pitch.
