County building expected to reopen Wednesday after utility pole hit today

ALBION – Crews from National Grid put up a new utility pole and reattached transformers and cable lines on the new pole after an accident at 11 a.m. today when a motorist struck the pole by the driveway leading to the County Administration Building. This photo also shows a crew from Verizon.
The pole was shattered into splinters. The County Administration Building was closed and employees sent home today when the driver had an apparent medical incident.
The power is expected to back on later tonight with building reopened on Wednesday.
