ALBION – Dunkin’ Donuts and Tim Hortons both said they have seen big upticks in traffic since they opened early this morning.

At Tim Hortons in Albion the line of customers has been out the door much of this morning. Customers started showing up at 4:30 this morning, a Tim Hortons worker said,

With thousands in the community without power, they came for their morning coffee and breakfast. Others wanted to recharge phones and use laptops for the WiFi.

“It’s been crazy,” said the Tim Hortons worker.

It was a similar phenomenon at Dunkin’ Donuts next door with people set up with laptops to check email and work offsite.
