Close contests in Euchre League
Runner-up Legion edged past front-running Sacred Heart and Vets Club nipped JR Wilson by the identical score of 36-34 Monday in Medina Euchre League position round contests.
Now holding just a four point lead, Sacred Heart is 486-424 on the season followed by Legion 482-428, JR Wilson 450-460 and Vets Club 402-508.
League competition continues on January 4 with Sacred Heart at Vets Club and Legion at JR Wilson.
