Chili nips Albion U14 in season opener
The Albion U-14 team dropped a wild 18-17 decision to Chili Saturday in the season opening Brockport League game.
Albion scored four early runs on the bats of Zac Olles, Kyle Woolston, Nathan Olmstead, Shawn Allen and Zach Colacecchi but were unable to hold the lead.
Both teams traded runs through the next five innings. In the top of the seventh, trailing by one, Albion scored five runs with hits by Olles, Woolston and a triple by Damion Lattimer, but again were unable to hold the lead and lost by one in the bottom of the seventh.
