Chili booters even score with Albion Raptors
Avenging an earlier season 1-0 loss, the Chili Attack used a quick two goal scoring burst in the first five minutes to key a 7-0 victory over the host Albion Raptors this evening in a Rochester District Youth Soccer League girls U17 Division game. Here Mariah Plain advances the ball for Albion between a pair of Chili defenders. Chili held a narrow 2-0 lead at the half as Albion had an apparent goal disallowed during that stretch.
Abby Scanlan, right, moves the ball upfield for Albion which next hosts Bloomfield at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the season finale. Albion is now 6-4-1 and division leading Chili 10-1.
