Channel Cats sweep; Seahorses split
Roy-Hart/Barker scored a sweep over visiting HAC in a non league swim meet this afternoon. The Channel Cats won the boys’ meet 87-81 and the girls’ 106-55.
Sean Labick was a double winner in the 200 Free and 100 Backstroke and Carson Hashem took both the 50 Free and 100 Free to lead the Channel Cats boys team.
In the girls meet the Channel Cats had five individual event winners as Abigail Glyshaw took the 200 Free and 100 Breaststroke, Ava Achtyl the 100 Free and 100 Backstroke, Julia Miles the 200 Individual Medley, Sophia Santella the 50 Free and Madelina Pavlock the 500 Free.
Medina split with visiting Attica. The Seahorses won the boys’ meet 71-64 but lost the girls’ competition 96-62.
Bryson Ford doubled in the 500 Free and 100 Butterfly and Jobi Wheeler took the 100 Breaststroke to lead the Seahorses boys squad.
Madeline Mark took the Individual Medley and Madelynn Rutledge the 100 Backstroke for the Medina girls squad.
