Channel Cats score sweep over Seahorses

Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Nadia White was a double winner in the 50 Free and 100 Free for Roy-Hart/Barker/Lyndonville during this afternoon’s victory over host Medina.

Roy-Hart/Barker/Lyndonville swept to a doubleheader victory over host Medina in a Niagara-Orleans League swim meet this evening.

The Channel Cats won the boys’ meet 87-43 and the girls’ competition 94-56.

Andrew Ossont was a double winner in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Freestyle and Sean Labiak doubled in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Breaststroke for the RBL boys’ squad which also had Max Stern win the 100 Backstroke.

Caiden Class doubled in the 200 Free and 500 Free and Jackson Moreland won the 50 Free for the Seahorses.

Nadia White was a double winner in the 50 Free and 100 Free and Abigail Glyshaw took both the IM and 100 Breaststroke for the RBL gitrls’ squad as Julia Miles won the 200 Free, Alexis Seib the Butterfly and Madelina Pavlock the 500 Free.

Madelynn Rutledge won the Backstroke for Medina.

Medina next hosts Newfane at 5 p.m. Thursday and RBL visits Albion on December 20.

Andrew Ossont doubled for the Channel Cats in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Free.
