Champion Mustangs have a total of seven first team C North Division honorees
Champion Medina has placed seven players on the first team of the C North Division football squad.
Junior linebacker Brody Fry, who has been named C North Defensive Player of the Year, and sophomore running back Christian Moss, who has been named C North Offensive Player of the Year heads Medina’s first team contingent.
That group also includes senior offensive lineman Xavier King, senior defensive lineman Roosevelt Mitchell, senior defensive backs Noah Cudzilo and Kaedon Cleveland and junior place kicker Cole Callard.
Moss rushed for 1,362 yards and 16 touchdowns averaging 9.5 yards per carry.
Fry had a team leading 69 tackles, 1 forced fumble and a sack. On offense, he had 260 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns and 152 yards receiving and 1 TD.
Callard, who also handled the punting and kickoff duties, was 44 of 46 on extra point kicks and also booted 4 field goals.
Cudzilo had 38 tackles and 4 interceptions. Offensively he had 441 yards rushing and 6 TDs and 180 yards receiving and 5TDs.
Cleveland had 26 tackles and 4 interceptions while Mitchell had 28 tackles and King 19.
The Mustangs also had five second team selections including quarterback Julian Woodworth, wide receiver Justin Pitts, offensive linemen Sawyer Kingsbury and Cole Campbell, and defensive back Will Prest, all seniors.
Woodworth passed for 787 yards and 7 TDs and rushed for 539 yards and 11 TDs.
The Mustangs also had senior Xavier Bloom and junior Ethan Carson receive Honorable Mention.
