Champion Kendall players and coach receive top Class D All-State soccer honors

Fresh from capturing a first ever state championship, the Kendall girls soccer team has now received a number of top Class D All-State honors.
Kendall mentor Pam Barchet, who guided the Lady Eagles to an 18-5 record, has been named state Class D Coach of the Year.
Lady Eagles junior midfielder Hailee Mitchell, who led the team in scoring with 30 goals, has been named state Class D Player of the Year.

Mitchell and junior center defender Lizzie Sutphen have both been named to the Class D All-Sate first team .
In addition, Lady Eagles sophomore midfielder Madison Jacob has earned a spot on the second team and sophomore midfielder Brianna Wakefield has been named to the fourth team.
Kendall blanked Fort Ann 1-0 in the state championship game. In all, the Lady Eagles allowed a total of only 2 goals in seven postseason games including shutout victories in the Section V state qualifier (2-0 over Hinsdale), the Far West Regional (1-0 over North Collins) and the state semis (2-0 over Cincinnatus).
Holley sophomore midfielder Hailee Passarell has been named to the Class C fourth team. She led the Lady Hawks with 14 goals.
