The Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina/Akron Club Hockey team traveled to Buffalo Saturday to play Canisius and came away with a 9-1 loss.

There was no scoring until halfway through the opening period when Canisius got a goal.  Then with 22 seconds left in the period, they scored again.

A short- handed goal by the Crusaders made it 3-0, before Ryan Mettler (R-H) scored for RBM off assists from Michael Kuchey (R-H) and Dylan Krzykowski (Akron).

As RBM was five players short, fatigue became a factor and Canisius scored four more goals in the second period for a 7-1 lead entering the final period.  They finished off the scoring with two more goals.

RBM, now 4-6-1, plays next Saturday against St. Mary’s in Depew for their last away game before finishing the regular season with six consecutive home games.
