Byron-Bergen girls nip Holley in OT

Byron-Bergen scored a goal in overtime to nip visiting Holley 2-1 this evening in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game.

Holley jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first half on a goal by Brittney Shattuck.

Byron-Bergen rallied to first tie the game in the second half on a goal by Leah Thompson and then to claim the win in overtime on a tally by Olivia Audsley.

Madison Papaj made 16 saves in goal for Holley.

In one other G-R contest, Notre Dame edged past visiting Lyndonville 1-0 on a goal by Callie McCulley.
