The rapidly increasing number of weather related postponements and the rapid approach of the sectional playoffs will keep the turf at Vets Park busy thoughout Saturday with four games already scheduled.

Action is slated to get underway at 10 a.m. with the conclusion of the Wilson at Medina softball game which was halted in the second inning by Wednesday’s thunderstorm.

At noon, Albion will face CSAT in baseball.

The Albion softball team will then take to the field at 3 p.m. for a game against Roy-Hart and also at 5 p.m. for the completion of a game against Newfane which was halted by Wednesday’s storm deadlocked at 4-4.

The bad weather has also forced the rescheduling of the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League track meet at Roy-Hart. The first day’s events are now scheduled to be completed on Friday beginning at 3:30 p.m. with the day 2 completion slated for Monday at 3:30 p.m.

The annual N-O tennis doubles tournament, which was scheduled to begin today at Medina, has also been rescheduled for Friday and Saturday.
