It will be a busy season opening stretch of dual matches and tournaments for the Holley-Kendall wrestling team over the next 10 days.

Holley-Kendall will open the season with a match at Pavilion-York at 6 p.m. Thursday and then participate in the Byron-Bergen Tournament on Saturday.

Next week, Holley-Kendall will host Medina at Holley on December 12 and then compete in the Fred Large Memorial Tournament at Lyndonville on Dec. 14.

Seniors Hunter Jewell-Smith and Will Kruger along with sophomores Parker Denning and Brenden Eichas lead the way for Holley-Kendall. Jewell-Smith, who competed in the state tournament last year, went 40-7 while Kruger was 30-6.
