Bulls have 2 first team C North Div. honorees
Roy-Hart/Barker has placed two players on the first team of the C North Division football squad.
The Bulls are represented by senior running back Aidan Mescall and junior linebacker Dan Aquilina.
Mescall rushed for 584 yards and 7 touchdowns and passed for 218 yards and 3 TDs. Aquilina had a team high 83 tackles and 5 sacks.
Roy-Hart/Barker also placed two players on the second team – senior offensive lineman Jackson Webber and junior defensive lineman Jackson West.
The Bulls also had a quartet of Honorable Mention selections including seniors Blake Schwab, John Konstanty , Jake Gould and junior Ireland Brady.
Newfane and Akron have 4 first team honorees
Quarterback Nate Snow, who has been named C North Player of the Year, heads Newfane’s first team group which also includes wide receiver senior Ben Dickinson, junior linebacker Ayden Buttery and sophomore defensive end Colin Doxey.
Snow passed for 2,025 yards and 21 touchdowns and rushed for 640 yards and 10 TDs. Dickinson had 1,040 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns. Buttery had 37 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 interception, 2 fumble recoveries along with 6 rushing TDs and 2 receiving TDs. Doxey had 52 tackles and 5 sacks.
The Panthers also had five second team selections including senior offensive lineman Jonny Beiter, senior wide receiver Landon Braman, junior offensive lineman Devin DeNardo, junior defensive lineman Khalil Golden and sophomore defensive back Mac Capen.
Akron likewise had a quartet of first team honorees including quarterback Coy Patterson, wide receiver Jack Julicher, offensive lineman Alex Schrock and linebacker Brayden Lamont, all juniors.
Patterson had 1,362 yards passing and 12 TD and 471 yards rushing and 6 TDs. Julicher had 38 receptions for 468 yards and 2 TDs.
The Tigers also had four second team selections including sophomore wide receiver Blake Gerstung, junior running back Nick Fry, junior defensive back Andrew Bergman and senior linebacker Logan McClaine.
