Buffalo Cosmos trims Medina Mustangs FC
A penalty kick goal proved to be the difference as the Buffalo Cosmos edged the visiting Medina Mustangs FC 2-1 Sunday in a Buffalo District Soccer League 2nd Division game.
The Cosmos scored a quick goal in the first 10 minutes and then went up 2-0 on the penalty kick goal.
Medina answered with a goal by Steven Anderson off an assist from Alex Allis but could not net the equalizer.
Now at 1-2, Medina will next host LA United on June 2 at 6 p.m. at Vets Park.
