Bonfire at East Shelby church cancelled due to wind
EAST SHELBY — Due to the high winds and falling temperatures, Orleans-Recovery Hope Begins Here is forced to cancel its bonfire and Gospel sing-a-long with Pastor Joe Szalay that was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the East Shelby Community Bible Church.
The event won’t be rescheduled due to the outdoor burn ban from March 16 to May 14, said Don Snyder, president of Orleans-Recovery.
