MEDINA – Students in Jessica Kronenberg’s food service program at the Orleans Career and Technical Education Center recently used their culinary skills to help make lunch for first responders, military representatives and law enforcement to thank them for their service.

The guests were at the Orleans/Niagara BOCES center as part of a career fair for the career and technical education students. Ms. Kronenberg volunteered her students to make their lunch and dessert.

“My students made Red, White and Blue chicken wing chili and assorted desserts to honor those who do so much for our community and our students,” said Ms. Kronenberg.  “They did an awesome job of not only preparing the food, but decorating the table to make it a pleasant luncheon. I am really proud of them and the hard work they put in to make it special.”
