Blue Jays win youth diamond playoff opener
The Medina Blue Jays scored a dominant win in the their first game of the playoffs 18-3 over the Braves on Thursday.
Bats came alive early as Josh Hilobuk, Julian Woodworth, Brandon Christiaansen all had hits to set the tone. Scoring 4 runs in the first inning and never looking back.
Hilobuk hit a grand slam in the fourth inning to increase the lead.
Joe Waters sealed the game with a 3 run triple.
Strong pitching performance from Christiaansen, Woodworth and Hilobuk kept the Braves in check for the whole game.
