Blue Jays and Pirates score victories

The Woodroe Realty Blue Jays improved to 8-0 on the season by beating Lyndonville Whipple Realty by score of 8- 0 this week.

Brody Fry led batting with a single and a home run and 3 RBI’s. Carter Woodworth added 2 doubles, Aiden Wisniewski a single and a double and 2 RBI’s, Jimmy Dieter 2 singles and 1 RBI, Aidan Papaj  2 singles and 1 RBI, Colton Smith  a single and 1 RBI, and Preston Woodworth and William Tagg each added a hit.

Fry pitched the first inning and Dieter the second  striking out the first 6 batters they faced.  Carter Woodworth, Papaj, Preston Woodworth, and Brady Christaansen each pitched an inning adding 6 more strikeouts over 4 innings.

The Pirates picked up their fourth win in a row defeating Lyndonville’s EZ Shop 3-1.

Strong performances by Brennan Woodruff, Shane Fearby, Timmy Vazquez and Aaron Woodrow racking up 13 strike outs.

The bats were just as hot with Tyler Kroening, Sawyer Lilleby and Vasquez all went 2-2.  Vazquez and Lathan Miller brought in runs while Aleks Seefelt was strong on defense making multiple plays at third.
