Blue Devils top Mustang stickmen

Moving on top to stay in the second quarter, East Aurora went on to defeat visiting Medina 12-7 this afternoon in a Class C Division lacrosse game.

Medina jumped out to a 2-1 first quarter lead as Brendan Luthart and Mason Lewis netted the game’s first two goals.

However, East Aurora rebounded to take leads of 5-3 at the half and 10-5 at the three-quarter mark.

Jake Cotter scored Medina’s other 5 goals.

East Aurora is now 9-3 and Medina 5-8 in Class C Division action.

Medina next visits Lockport in a non league game at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
