Six errors and 10 stranded runners proved to be a fatal combination as Lyndonville dropped a narrow 6-5 decision at Attica this afternoon in a Genesee Region League baseball game.

Three Tiger errors in the third inning helped the Blue Devils score three times to build up an early 4-1 lead.

Lyndonville did pull even at 5-5 with a run in the top of the seventh on a sacrifice by Brandon Schoolcraft but Attica answered with the game winning tally in the home half of the frame on two singles and a double.

AJ Buckland and Jacob Hoffee both had 3 hits on the day for Lyndonville as Ty Hrovat, Michael Wells and Eddie Schildt each chipped in with 2.

Playing a third game in as many days, Lyndonvlle slips to 4-2 in the league and 7-3 overall.

The Tigers next host Pembroke Friday in a G-R contest.

Pembroke 2, Kendall 1

Pembroke pushed across a run in the sixth inning on a bases loaded walk to snap a 1-1 tie and earn a 2-1 non league win over host Kendall.

Kendall did get the tying run to second base with one out in the seventh on a double by Mookie Nauden but could not capitalize as two strikeouts wiped out the threat and preserved the Dragons win.

Cody Spellan went the distance on the mound for Kendall giving up only 4 hits and striking out 6.

Now at 2-5, Kendall next hosts Alexander on Thursday in a Genesee Region League game.
