Blue Devils down Mustangs

Scoring three quick runs in the second inning, Batavia went on to edge Medina 6-2 this afternoon in a non league game at Vets Park.
Three walks keyed the early inning uprising for the Blue Devils which later locked up the win by scoring twice in the top of the seventh sparked by an RBI single by Alex Canty.
Medina’s two runs came in the third inning as Luke Porter tripled and came home on a sacrifice by Brad McPherson and Justin Morgan doubled and scored on a single by Jared Zinkievich. Porter had 2 hits on the day.
Medina next visits Wilson in a Niagara-Orleans League game on Monday.
