Batavia-Attica downed host Lyndonville 42-34 this evening in a non league wrestling match.

Lyndonville did jump out to an early 18-6 lead after back-to-back pins by Connor Bell (126) in 35 seconds and Brandon Munn in 2:56.

However, Batavia-Attica answered back with a string of four straight pins by Casper Stewart (138), Travis Kauffman (145), Tyler Budzinack (152) and Kaden Manucci (160) to take the lead for good at 30-18.

The Tigers did battle back to within two at 30-28 after a major decision win by Rodney Davis (172) and a second period pin by Maddox Stirk (189) but could get no closer.

The Blue Devils put a lock on the win via a pin by Thomas McCabe (285) in the second from the last bout to go up 42-28.
