Blackmon to play football at Buffalo St.

Albion High senior Des Blackmon will be continuing his education at Buffalo State College and will play football for the Bengals this fall.
A three year varsity player, Blackmon was a two-way starter for the Purple Eagles last fall and earned earned second team B-North Division All-Stars honors.
“Des really made some leaps and bounds this year and became one of the best receivers in the league,” said Albion football Coach Gary Parisi.
“He was a pleasure to coach and I am really excited he is going on to the next level. The coaches at Buffalo State are very excited to have Des in the receiving core and feel he will fit into their scheme perfectly.”
