Bitter cold will grip region

The National Weather Service has issued a “hazardous weather outlook” for Orleans and several other Western New York counties for Friday when temperatures could fall to near 0 degrees.
Today is forecast for a high of 34, although it was only 11 degrees at 8 a.m. The National Weather Service is forecasting highs of 16 on Friday, 17 on Saturday and 10 degrees on Sunday.
