Big temperature swings this week – High of 70 on Tuesday with snow on Thursday

There will be some big temperature swings in Orleans County this week.

Today will be mostly cloudy and will reach a high of 44, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo.

Tuesday is forecast to be sunny with a high near 70. Then the high drops to 55 on Wednesday with snow and rain likely after 9 p.m. on Wednesday. The overnight low that night will be 29.

On Thursday there will be occasional snow before noon, and snow showers likely after noon. The high is forecast for 35.

Friday will be sunny with a high near 39, followed by a high near 52 on Saturday.
