Big second inning sparks Lady Tigers
Moving on top to stay with a big second inning scoring burst, Lyndonville went on to defeat CG Finney 14-2 in a non league softball game this afternoon.
The Lady Tigers erupted for 6 runs in the second inning as Katelyn Breeze had an RBI double and Lorelei Dillenbeck and Bella Groves RBI singles.
Groves had a total of 4 hits on the day as Lorelei Dillenbeck and Addison Dillenbeck both had 2. Addison Dillenbeck’s hit included a home run.
In the circle, Haley Shaffer hurled a 2 hitter with 9 strikeouts for the Lady Tigers which improve to 11-2.
