Lyndonville rallies late for Tri County win

A big late inning scoring burst keyed Lyndonville to a 9-8 victory over Alexander in a Tri County League Babe Ruth baseball game Thursday evening.
Trailing 6-2, Lyndonville exploded for 7 runs in the sixth inning to earn the win and improve to 3-3.
A two-run triple by Oskar Heinsler, an RBI triple by Jacob Corser along with run producing singles by Casey Winiecki and Roman Heinsler highlighted that decisive uprising. Corser had 2 hits in the evening.
Roman Heinsler picked up the win on the mound striking out 7 over the last 4 innings.
Lyndonville next hosts Alden on July 5.
