Big inning powers Lady Tigers to victory

Breaking away from a 1-1 deadlock, Lyndonville erupted for 7 runs in the third inning to key an 11-5 victory over visiting Attica this afternoon in a Genesee Region League softball game.

A three-run double by Brianna Paniccia and a two-run single by Anna Lewis highlighted the decisive frame for the Lady Tigers.

Lyndonville later put a lock on the win by scoring 3 runs in the sixth inning as Amanda Drown had a two-run single.

Paniccia finished with a total of 3 hits as Lewis, Drown and Cassie Boyce each had 2.

Paniccia drove in a total of 4 runs, Boyce 3 and Lewis 2.

Lyndonville, which is now 3-0 in the league, next visits Pembroke on Wednesday.
