Big early inning ignited Lady Tigers romp

Breaking the game wide open with a huge second inning scoring explosion, Lyndonville went on to blank Elba 22-0 in a Genesee Region League contest this afternoon.

Leading 3-0, Lyndonville erupted for 13 runs in the decisive second inning higlighted by a two-run homer by Lorelei Dillenbeck, a two-run single and an RBI single by Brianna Smith, a two-run single by Addison Dillenbeck and an RBI single by Haley Shaffer.

Smith finished with a total of 3 hits and Shaffer 2.

Lyndonville improves to 10-3 in the league and 13-3 overall.

Pembroke 14, Holley 11

Pembroke scored three times in the sixth inning on a three-run double by Regan Schneider to edge Holley 14-11 in a G-R contest.

Natalie Foose had 3 hits and Tia Hoffarth and Layne Walker 2 each for Holley. Foose’s hits included a triple and a total of 5 RBI.
