Limited to just 3 hits, the Niagara Nationals dropped narrow 5-3 decision to the Ohio Athletics Bees this afternoon in the second round of the Cap Classic Tournament at Pittsburgh.

The Nationals jumped out to an early 3-0 lead by scoring twice in the first inning and once in the second aided by hits from Aiden Johnston and Carson Harper.

However, the Nationals were blanked on just 1 more hit, a single by David Belsito, the rest of the way as the Bees rallied for 2 runs in the fourth inning and 3 more in the fifth to claim the win in the contest which was halted by rain after six innings.

Now at 1-1 in the tourney, the Nationals had their second scheduled game rained out and will now likely play twice on Saturday.
