Bees nip Albion for tourney title in 2OT
Albion dropped a narrow 3-2 double overtime decision to the host Bees this evening in the championship game of the Byron-Bergen boys soccer tournament.
Kendyll Hadick and Noah Goudreau scored the Albion goals as Spencer Lombard and Tom Hollenbeck earned assists.
Devin Gaylord made 18 saves in goal to anchor the defense for the Purple Eagles.
Lombard, Nate Smith and Preston Flugel were all named to the All Tournament team as Gaylord received Honorable Mention.
