Batavia tops Albion in tournament semifinal
Steadily pulling away, Batavia posted an 84-58 victory over Albion this evening in the opening round of the Batavia Lions Club Tournament at Genesee Community College.
The Blue Devils built up leads of 19-12 after one period, 44-25 at the half and 63-39 at the three-quarter mark.
Mason McFollins poured in a game high 31 to lead Batavia as Antwan Odom added 12.
Liam Ward scored 20, Bryce Pritchard 17 and Deyonci Farley 10 for Albion.
Notre Dame defeated Elba 73-66 in the other semifinal.
Albion will now face Elba in the consolation game at 6:30 p.m. Friday while Batavia will take on Notre Dame in the title contest at 8 p.m.
