Batavia posts softball win over Albion Storm

The Batavia Black scored a 18-6 win over the Albion Storm softball team Thursday evening.
Anna Gillette started on the mound for the Storm and went two and a half innings with 6 strikeouts and one hit. Anna Grillo to get through the rest of the 3rd inning.
Kait Bennett pitched the 4th inning picking up two strikeouts. Anna Gillette came back in to close the game in the 5th and 6th inning picking up another 6 strikeouts allowing only an additional two hits.
At the plate the Storm couldn’t wake the bats up enough and ended up with 5 hits. Melia Prince went 2-2 with a pair of singles. Gillette, Nathalia Coley, and Meadow Smith all had a single a piece.
The Storm’s last game will be Tuesday at home against Batavia Yellow.
