Batavia girls post win over Albion
Building up a 35-13 half-time advantage, Batavia went on to defeat visiting Albion 68-33 this evening in a non league girls basketball game.
Tiara Filbert scored 20 and Madison McCulley 15 to lead the way for Batavia.
Chanyce Powell scored 13, Emily Blanchard 8 and Sierra Newton 7 for Albion. Powell also grabbed off 7 rebounds and Newton 6.
Newfane 47, North Tonawanda 45 (OT)
A basket by Emily Foltz with 10 seconds to go in overtime provided the margin for Newfane over host North Tonawanda iin a non league contest.
Paige Emborsky scored 18 and Foltz 10 to lead the way for Newfane.
