Barre remains Midget Diamond Kings
Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Barre players and coaches celebrate capturing a fourth straight Albion Midget League playoff championship on Saturday with a 12-4 win over Rotary/Lions. In highlights from the championship game, Barre’s Nathan Gibson, at left, had a big day at the plate banging out a single, double and triple and driving in a total of 5 runs. Rotary/Lions shortstop Wesley Olles, at right, has tagged out Barre’s Makenzie Snook on this play and is attempting to tag out Zach Vancott before he reaches second base.
