Barre earns 10th Albion Midget League win
Barre downed Carlton 7-3 Thursday to improve to 10-1 in Albion Midget League 12U Division action.
Brody Furness had a solo home run in the first inning and Owen Legen a two-run homer to highlight a four run second inning to highlight the offense for Barre. Ethan Olles and Hudson Armer also both had hits in the second inning.
Luke Bedford pitched the whole game for Carlton registering 10 strikeouts. Caden Woolston also made several key plays on defense to save runs.
In other games reported from Thursday, Rotary downed Holley ‘A’ as Matthew Schomske and Kayden Donnelly both had 2 hits and Hamlin ‘A’ bested Sandstone 8-3.
